Last Friday: Salon du Bourget
current mood: accomplished
The Salon du Bourget is an air show, but not limited to it. It has in fact a very professional audience. Le Bourget is an airport and a "commune" to the north of Paris, close to PAR - Charles de Gaulle.
Despite getting a sunstroke, I had a wonderful Friday with my sweetheart and his parents at theSalon du Bourget.
We started out in the Halls with more or less professional presentations as well as public, which meant that a huge part of them wasn't very interesting, though there have been exceptions.
Example: the Japanese company IHI Corporations gave away some very beautiful casings for documents (I'm not sure this is the correct word, but can't even recall the correct German one...) picturing the Kinkakuji (Pavillon of Gold from Kyoto) and another one -can't recall exactly which one it was, but think it might have been Mitsubishi- notebooks with a Japanese-style drawn Geisha on the cover.
Sadly, we couldn't find posters for Matthieu.

At least I could sleep during this time, since I started to feel the sunstroke...
